Fund Raising
No expense was spared to create motivational reminders for the aluminum can project.
Since its inception, the Silver City Rotary Club has successfully raised funds for local charities. In 2006-2007, Silver City Rotarians donated funds to Alimento para el Nino, El Refugio, WNMU, GRMC, el Grito Headstart, and others. Our major fund raising event, a biannual Silent Auction, is evolving into a limited-seating dinner event that includes both a live and silent auction. All members of the club devote time and energy to make this a most successful evening. All net proceeds generated from this event are dedicated to community projects in Silver City.
Over the years Silver City Rotary has donated more than $500,000 dollars to local programs.
The next Silver City Rotary Silent Auction will take place in the spring of 2009.
