Announcements: Art thanked the people who helped with Toss no Mas. The number of district clubs who participated in the Epic Day of Service in their areas was 13 out of 62. There is a deadline of June 15 to do a day of service. Art welcomed Ray back from his trip, an eleven-day Mediterranean cruise.
Jim Callender announced that Ray Davis passed away on Friday. Ray was a past president of our club, and discussion followed about all the great things he had been involved in. Funeral
arrangements are not available at this time.
Tom Bates asked to say a few words about Bill Harrison. Bill will be 103 on June 22. Tom invited everyone to a Sunday service at Ft. Bayard on that day. Maggie suggested that our club visit him. She said she would make his favorite, a carrot cake, to take to celebrate his birthday. The club decided to visit him on June 3 in lieu of our regular meeting.
Mark Richard wanted to talk about the polio fundraiser with an alternative to the concert since that seems to be drawing fewer people each year. He suggested a possible golf tournament at
Ft. Bayard. Art asked about the condition of the course. Mark said they also have a disk golf course which might be an option or a combination of the two. Ray asked about an Octoberfest
at the Open Space Brewery. Mark said The Toad already does something similar. This is open for future discussion.

Program: The speaker had to cancel because of illness but has rescheduled for a future date.

Art adjourned the meeting at 1:00 pm.
