Steve introduced our speaker, Christine Cutbirth.

Topic: Diabetes.
Christine spoke about how diabetes affects so many people; many who are not even aware that they have the disease. She spoke of some of the symptoms, eg: thirst, dizziness, excessive urination, especially at night. A prediabetes risk test, consisting of age, gender, family history of diabetes, high blood pressure, amount of physical activity and weight are some of the things to be aware of and mention to your doctor.
Christine gave a very interesting and informative talk.
