Program:
Ed Downard, Pinos Altos Fire Chief, and Mike Raines, Public and Community Relations for PA Fire Department, were introduced by Linda Lowrance. They emphasized that fire season is year round! Rural Fire Association is regional and 75% of the firefighters are volunteers.
Mike Raines (left) talked
about Home Fire Extinguishers. All extinguishers should address Class A fires which are ordinary combustibles. Class B fires are flammable liquids (i.e., grease); and Class C fires which are
electrical (either live or energized)
    Mike Raines                                                   Ed Downard
The acronym for fire safety is PASS--pull pin, aim hose, squeeze lever, and sweep across the flame.

A very interesting and well done presentation.

Meeting adjourned at 1:00 pm.
