Program: Carlos introduced our speakers, Alexa Tubbs and Matt Leef, to tell us about their recently opened business, the Open Space Brewery, in Santa Clara, NM. Alexa and Matt told of their love of nature and hiking, and enjoying a good beer. They met while hiking the Continental Divide Trail in 2019, and bonded over their love for nature and a good brew, and for each other. They showed slides of the business, which is at the Armory in Santa Clara, and is well on its way to becoming a unique, large and lovely brewery, with lots of space and even a resident cat and dog! Matt described what is done for the brewing process. At this time, a couple of food trucks will be supplying a limited menu. The entire presentation was very informative and entertaining.
