Program:
Carlos introduced Joelle Valles, who is a 16 year old Silver student,  part of the Pro Start program at Silver High.
Joelle spoke about the Pro Start program, which teaches the participating students (in this case) culinary and management skills. She said the upcoming trip in May of 2024, will be to learn about and enjoy the "tastes of Italy." Joelle said "I am very interested and enjoy food preparation." She explained the the trip will be expensive, costing $5,000 per person, and the participants have to raise funds for this purpose on their own. Maggie said she would send out an email to members of the club with a link to a website where donations can be made to help Joelle cover these expenses.
