A big thank you to Linda and Art, for all of the work they
did to make the Blues for Polio concert a success. Linda said it was a success and thanked all who assisted that night; including her husband, Ken, who took tickets and handed out programs. Linda thinks this could be a yearly event, but perhaps held earlier in October because of the weather. Pictures of the performers taken by Linda are featured throughout this Bulletin.

The Holiday party is set for December 2, 2022 at Sunny and Harry Kellerman's house at 5:30 pm. A dessert auction is planned.
Art: We sold 20 stuffed animals while selling concert tickets. Lots of people bought the animals and then donated them back to give to kids at El Refugio.

The Backpack project is now a Food Security project. There will be packing of food at the Commons tomorrow, Wednesday the 9th at 2 pm. One more volunteer is needed and Jerry said she would be there.

Peter F.: We made $3200.00 net approximately. Unless anyone has any other ticket money or bills that I don't know about. The Gates Foundation matches this amount 2 to 1 for polio eradication.
One snafu: we forgot to tell Jason (Sudexo) that there would be a few more guests at the reception, so the food ran out, but no complaints were heard.
Clara: I need three members to offer to be the speaker coordinators for January, February and March. Three speakers per month. Steve took January; Tom February and Dave took March.
