Carlos: 1) Please silence your cell phones. 2) There will be a Foundation Board meeting next week 7/18/23.
Art: Soliciting sponsors for the fundraiser for Polio concert in November. It will be a "Rock For Polio" Blues concert. Cost for sponsors is $300.00, which includes logos on posters and two free tickets.
Installation of new officers for the year will be done by Sunny Kellerman. Officers listed below.

Our club had its 1st July 4th Rotary float, with signs "Rotary Club of Silver City 1923-2023" very visible on the truck (Harry Kellerman driving, Peter Falley co-pilot, Jerry and Glen Outzs in the back seat, and Lucy Falley and Art Thorn in the back in lounge chairs and under umbrellas. Sunny and Maria Biondo walking alongside and giving away candies. It was Hot! The winners of "waving at the crowds" were Maria and Art.

Carlos: We received a "thank you" from
the NHD students for the $500.00 we gave them.
Sunny: The 18th will be Michael Shinabery with his "Road Show". It will be excellent.
On July 20-22, Vitalant is having a blood drive at Women's" Club.
On July 28, Will Hawkins has time and space at Silver H.S. for people, clubs, etc. to let the public know what they have to offer.
Sunny reserved 20 minutes at 8:30 am to talk about RYLA, scholarships, Youth Exchange.
Maggie: Club received a "thank you" from SC Teacher of the Year Award winner, Rosemary Peru, for the $1500.00 gift from Our Club. Also, WNMU is having a fundraiser next Wednesday.
Steve: Speakers for August are 8/8/23 NHD students and coaches. 8/15/23 Stacey Cox from CHI, 8/22/23 Christine Cuthbert HMS Nutritionist, 8/29/23 club Assembly.
Program: Theresa Villa, Coordinator of Family Engagement at Cobre Schools.
She told of the various programs that are starting in the Cobre S.D. to get families more engaged with the students and the programs. She said there is a great need for mentors, and other volunteers. Theresa also talked about the Summerfest Event, which is in its 2nd year and has grown a lot. Theresa Villa is pictured below.
