In my defense, Sunny did have surgery on her spine not too long ago." When I first told Peter about my goof, he thought it hilarious; later, I did too, and said I would call it a "comedy dollar."

Mark Richard introduced Roque.
Roque Garcia gave a very interesting presentation about mental health needs and what is available in this area. "While New Mexico is very high on the numbers of people who present mental health conditions, there are very few mental health providers." Mental health services in the state were severely disrupted in 2013 by then Governor Martinez's decision to shut down many of the providers because of alleged fraudulent billing. Those charges were later found to be unsubstantiated and unwarranted. Border Area Mental Health has now largely recovered from that experience and is up and running once again. Roque said anyone can call the Border Area Mental Health Services at 1-575-388-4497 to find some help.
